About Us
At Ginger Root Pelvic Health, we are passionate about supporting postpartum individuals in reclaiming joy, confidence and connection in their bodies.
We value early postpartum care to reduce pain, optimize healing, enhance function and promote a deeper mind-body connection. Most importantly, we aspire to create a safe space where individuals can reconnect and reacquaint with their bodies.
Most postpartum individuals are seen only once by their medical provider for a 6-week “clearance.” We believe postpartum individuals deserve earlier, continuous and more comprehensive support to enrich this time period and promote physical and emotional well-being. We aspire to revolutionize 4th trimester care and we offer in-person visits in St. Louis Park and the surrounding areas.
Our Values
Collaboration
We view the therapeutic relationship and rehabilitation journey as a collaborative process. We believe each client is an expert in their own body. Together, we explore symptoms and determine a plan that resonates with personal values and experiences.
Curiosity
We approach each client with openness and curiosity and with an understanding that each person has a unique story to share. Through careful listening, we strive to create a safe, playful and validating space for exploration.
Education
We view the therapeutic relationship and rehabilitation journey as a collaborative process. We believe each client is an expert in their own body. We are passionate about continuing education and aligning with current evidence and best practices.
